The First Annual High Performance Buildings Seminar was held on November 7th, 2012. The Keynote presentations began with a speech from Merle F. McBride, the Senior Research 

Associate of Owens Corning Center of Science and Technology. The lunchtime keynote was Thomas M. Lawrence, the Senior Public Service Associate, Faculty of Engineering at the University of Georgia. The conference ended with a series of breakout sessions.
